Services- Our normal business
hours are Monday through Sunday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., and 24 hour notice is requested for all errands.
Service requests made outside of our business hours will be verified the next business day.
- Our regular service
area includes the following areas: Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Ellicott City (Howard County). Requests for service outside
of our service area will be agreed to at our discretion.
- Service requests can be made via
phone, email, or fax. Our phone number is 1-888-747-9955, fax number 410-747-5949 and our email address
is Customerservice@mason-dixonconcierge.com.
- Blocks of time must be used within 30 days of purchase and the cost of the membership
does not cover special services (event planning, vacation house sitting, pet services, etc.)
Fees
- An initial client consultation, for 30 minutes, is free. Any extra time will be charged at our
hourly rate in 15 minute increments.
- There is a 1 hour minimum for
all services requested. Our time starts from when we leave our office or the last errand location and continues
until errand is completed, including travel time to arrive and leave service destinations. Any extra time
will be charged at our hourly rate in 15 minute increments.
- Should our errand
take us outside of our service area, our time will not stop until we are back at our office. If we will
be leaving your location to arrive at another errand location that is located within our service area, your time will stop
when we arrive at our 10 mile radius.
- Retainer/Membership fees are non-refundable, to be paid promptly,
and any time will not be carried over. For all new accounts, retainer/memberships fees will be collected at the beginning
of start of service.
- Additional mileage charges will apply to any job outside of a 10-mile radius, unless
otherwise stated. Our mileage fee is billed at the current IRS rate and you will be notified what it is
before service had commenced.
- Late fees, at 2% interest, will begin to accrue 7 days after service has been completed.
- A
fee of $35 will be assessed on any and all returned checks.
Payment - All agreed upon fees owed to Mason-Dixon Concierge, LLC are to be paid before or at time of services rendered, unless
other arrangements are agreed to.
- Client is responsible for all costs related to requests and payment is due before
service will take place. These costs include items like dry cleaning, automobile repair, catering, and
personal shopping items.
- Errand Service accounts can be set up so that Mason-Dixon
Concierge, LLC will have money on hand to pay for any purchases made on your behalf.
- The
following payment methods are currently accepted: Checks, money orders, cash, Paypal, Echecks or the following credit cards:
American Express, Discover, Master Card, or Visa.
- All Individual Membership Clients and Corporate Clients
will be placed on a billing cycle.
Safety - Errand
Service will not perform any work on Client’s behalf that is illegal or puts it in unreasonable danger.
- Errand
Service will not perform services in the late evening or early morning hours unless other Errand Service personnel is accompanying
the designated Errand Runner or other arrangements will be made.
Employment Status - Mason-Dixon Concierge, LLC is a licensed business and is a subcontractor of the Client.
- Client has no responsibility to withhold any taxes from or provide any benefits to Errand Service.
- Independent
agents used to accomplish a project are not considered employees. Mason-Dixon Concierge,
LLC will make every effort to contract with competent, honest, and trustworthy individuals.
- Contacting
an errand runner directly is a violation of their contract with Mason-Dixon Concierge, LLC,
will jeopardize their standing with Mason-Dixon Concierge, LLC, and be considered
a violation of your agreement and services may be discontinued.
- Should services be discontinued
due to a violation of your agreement, all fees paid will be forfeited.
Surcharges - The following surcharges will occur: $15 per hour with 3 hours or less notice or holidays, $20 added to the bill
for same day request, $ 20 per hour for errand requests after hours or on weekends. All surcharges are
in addition to regular charges.
- If Mason-Dixon Concierge, LLC
is requested to make a separate trip to pick up or drop off a key/set of keys or payment at the Client’s home or place
of business, Client will be charged a $10 fee.
Cancellation - Cancellation of services
requires a 24 hour notice via phone or email. If no notice is given, a $35 cancellation fee will apply.
Confidentiality - Mason-Dixon Concierge, LLC will not at any time sell or exchange our client information to outside
sources.
- Vendors will be provided with only the information required to complete a
specific task.
- Discretion will be strictly adhered to by Mason-Dixon Concierge, LLC and all employees.
Liability - Mason-Dixon Concierge, LLC will not be held liable for any
damages that the third party incurs if a third party:
-damages Client’s items (i.e. dry cleaners, plumber damages wall while
at Client’s home to repair leaky pipe, etc.). -is negligent, in any way, (i.e.
food poisoning from lunch deliveries, lost pet from broken fence, etc.). -has access
to Client’s home while client is away, and Mason-Dixon Concierge, LLC is
not here. 2. Mason-Dixon Concierge, LLC is not responsible for any damages
caused by a pet or child of the Client while in our care.
Satisfaction
Guarantee - Mason-Dixon Concierge,
LLC offers its client’s satisfaction guarantee on all services rendered.
- If
you are not satisfied with any of your services, Mason-Dixon Concierge, LLC
will refund your service fee.
