Corporate Concierge

Job Description

Responsibilities include greeting and registering visitors; greeting residents and providing services such as arranging transportation, accepting packages, assisting with luggage, guiding visitors, providing directions, and arranging dry cleaning and other service pick-ups and deliveries; preventing solicitors; responding to and following up on resident complaints or service requests; monitoring security systems and security cameras; and any other services required for maintaining a first-class level of resident service, care and safety.

Must have exceptional people skills and customer service abilities. Flexibility and a professional, friendly, helpful attitude are key.

Requirements
  • Must be able to work 3pm - 11pm and 11pm - 7am shifts
  • Exceptional communication, customer service and people skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Self-motivated; can work independently
  • Basic typing and computer skills including ability to find information on the Internet
  • Day shift requirements: 7:00 a.m. — 3:00 p.m. Great for moms, night students, retirees
  • Swing shift requirements: 3:00 p.m. — 11:00 p.m. Great for college students or medical residents
  • Night shift requirements: 11:00 p.m. — 7:00 a.m. Perfect for security guard or retired guard/doorman. (Must be able to maintain alertness.)
  • Hotel, hospitality or other service experience a plus.

Personal Assistant or Concierge

Able to maintain a high level of productivity with little direction 
Professional demeanor/appearance

Dog Walker or Pet-sitter

Job Description:

Seeking friendly, reliable and professional individuals to walk dogs, play and care for cats and other small pets in their homes during the day or overnight while their owners are away.

Requirements:

To qualify, you must:
• Genuinely love and have experience caring for dogs, cats and other small pets
• Be honest, responsible and reliable (criminal background check performed)
• Be able to make at least a 1 year commitment
• Be in good physical condition
• Be detail oriented and mentally alert
• Have a clean and respectable appearance
• Enjoy working outside in all types of weather
• Have daily access to an Internet-connected computer and printer
• Be over 21 years of age
• Have a dependable car, an excellent driving record and a valid driver’s license

Special Event and Party Planner

Job Description:

Obtain permits from fire and health departments to erect displays and exhibits and serve food at events.  Promote conference, convention and trades show services by performing tasks such as meeting with professional and trade associations, and producing brochures and other publications.
Develop event topics and choose featured speakers.
Consult with customers in order to determine objectives and requirements for events such as meetings, conferences, and conventions.
Monitor event activities in order to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws, satisfaction of participants, and resolution of any problems that arise.
Confer with staff at a chosen event site in order to coordinate details.
Review event bills for accuracy, and approve payment.
Plan and develop programs, agendas, budgets, and services according to customer requirements.
Coordinate services for events, such as accommodation and transportation for participants, facilities, catering, signage, displays, special needs requirements, printing and event security.
Arrange the availability of audio-visual equipment, transportation, displays, and other event needs.
Inspect event facilities in order to ensure that they conform to customer requirements.
Maintain records of event aspects, including financial details.
Conduct post-event evaluations in order to determine how future events could be improved.
Negotiate contracts with such service providers and suppliers as hotels, convention centers, and speakers.Meet with sponsors and organizing committees in order to plan scope and format of events, to establish and monitor budgets, and to review administrative procedures and event progress. Direct administrative details such as financial operations, dissemination of promotional materials, and responses to inquiries. Evaluate and select providers of services according to customer requirements. Read trade publications, attend seminars, and consult with other meeting professionals in order to keep abreast of meeting management standards and trends.
Organize registration of event participants. Design and implement efforts to publicize events and promote sponsorships.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.  A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
