Teachers have substitutes. Why can't regular employees?

Going to a temporary service is time consuming and even then one doesn't know who they are getting until they show up on site. And then there is the time needed to get up to speed on a task.

Sometimes a business simply needs hands and someone with the ability to make basic decisions. A personal assistant or concierge can assist a client who owns or runs a business.

A personal assistant or concierge can help on a temporary basis if needed. The  assistant can help on various projects that support the primary work or company mission.

Mangage Customer Email

One of the most demanding tasks in this era of electronic communication is handling email effectively. More are more people are delegating this task to their personal assistant.

If you are like me, you get hundreds of emails each week. The fact is that I often get behind and lately I have been considering having my own personal assistant manage my email so that I can stay on top of it all and respond to people in a reasonable amount of time.


Lately, I have been encountering more executives who have their assistants handle their email. It makes perfect sense - after all, of the hundreds of emails I get each week the vast majority are routine. They are either not relevant or they require a standard response.

Create Customized Packing Lists

Most people travel at least several times per year, often to the same location. Forgetting a key item can often mean the difference between a happy trip and a frustrating one.

It can also mean additional expense and added stress.

Fortunately, a personal assistant can reduce the chances of a spoiled trip by helping the client create customized packing lists to use for each type of trip they take.

Change Out Seasonal Wardrobes

Many people have more clothes than they need. Others simply have more clothes than their closets or apartments will hold. A personal assistant can help in both cases.

This condition is true of both females and males and also is not restricted to major cities like New York and London. Although it is usually a place like New York that has services that specialize in storage of wardrobes.


I was reminded of this service myself recently when I had to make room for my spring and summer clothing in my main dresser. I had to bring the spring and summer clothing out of storage bins in my main closet and exchange the winter clothing in my dresser.


Changing out wardrobes is not simply about changing the location of clothing. It also involves cleaning, ironing, buying storage bins and boxes, and labeling items for easy recall later. It can actually turn into a rather involved project.

Eldercare Assistance

In a period where a large percentage of the population is reaching the "golden years" there is an ever increasing need to assist with aging parents.
 

A personal assistant can be a valuable ally in helping meet this very important need. In fact, given all the responsibilities most people have - a personal assistant can be a godsend.
 

When many people think of elder care they think about nursing homes and home health issues. While that can be an element of scope of services a personal assistant can provide, one is better served to let services that specialize in that area handle it.

What we are talking about are trips to the drugstore, visits just to check in on them and provide some social contact, and the general myriad of tasks and chores that everyone has around a home or apartment.


It is entirely possible that the principle client may actually live in another city. They may not have siblings and just need to feel assured that they have someone looking after their parents.

We have added corporate babystting services to support our corporate customers.  In the past this service was only available to non coporate clients.  However, due to an increased request for  childcare services by some of our larger corporate companies we have established  a corporate group rate babysitting service to meet the demand of our corporate clients childcare needs during major events and programs.

Catalog Collection Assistance

A a personal assistant can assist in the care and management of collections by doing a number of tasks. Some collections need cleaning and maintenance on a regular basis. We can also assist with the acquisition or sales of various pieces. Cataloging collections is also an important task - especially if the collection has significant monetary value. A well documented collection is essential for insurance purposes.
